RPG-1
Manual gasometer RPG-1 is portable battery powered device, which is used to measure atmospheric parametrs in potenially explosive atmospheres.
Measured physical quantities can be, depending on the version of the instrument, the concentrations of gases contained un the atmosphere (methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide, chlorine, hydrogen, ammonia, phosphine, hydrogen chloride or hydrogen cyanide) or temperature values, relative humidity and pressure (in one device).
The place of application is underground mine workings or industrial facilities where there is a risk of explosion. The device is built in a sealed casing made of plastic.
Inside there is an electronic system with a measuring sensor and a battery supplying the device.
Charging the battery may only take place outside the potentially explosive atmosphere.
